Nov 2 - Austin played very well at the Texas State Tournament, we were undefeated on the day and only allowed one score against us.

Austin vs Texas A&M 10 - 5

Austin vs Sam Houston Univ 70 - 0

Oct 22 - Austin Valkyries B vs Texas State score was 66-0. Great game as we really worked on our continuity and some new combinations in the backs and forwards.

Oct 14 - Congratulations to Wendy Young for being selected to attend the Red vs White Intrasquad Match with the 15's Eagles Women's National Team.

Oct 12 - Austin B vs Dallas Diablos 35 - 0
Austin A vs St. Louis Sabres 34 - 7
With that win the Austin A team clinches 2nd place overall in the West D1 League series. Congratulations ladies!

Oct 10 - Congratulations to Heidi Whitman for being selected as a Reserve for the Eagles 7's Women's National Team. She will be traveling to several events in preperation for the 2009 7's Rugby World Cup.

Oct 7 - Thank you to everyone who attended our screening of Forever Strong! We made over $3,000 dollars for this fundraiser, THANK YOU for attending and support USA Rugby and the Austin Valkyries.

Oct 4 - The Valkyries last League Match of the season is on Oct 11 at 3pm. The game will be played at Burr Field and will follow the Austin B vs Dallas game, which begins at 12:30.
