The Bulldogs today enter the market for a major sponsor following confirmation that Mitsubishi Electric have opted not to renew their five year sponsorship deal when it expires at the end of this year.

As Mitsubishi Electric move into a new phase of branding Executive Director Mr Tom Seeto says they benefited greatly from the extensive reach provided by their partnership with the Bulldogs.

“Our key goal when signing with the Bulldogs was to drive brand awareness of our business and I can categorically say that we’ve had great success in achieving that mission,” Mr Seeto said.

“The Bulldogs are in a time of a change with some very clear plans for the future, we wish them well in their endeavours and remain great fans of the team.”

Bulldogs Chief Executive Mr Todd Greenberg says the relationship with Mitsubishi Electric has been one of the longest and most successful naming rights sponsorships in the NRL.

“We’re extremely grateful for the support Mitsubishi Electric have given us over an extended period and we’re particularly pleased that it was a partnership that delivered results for both parties,” Mr Greenberg said.

“We’re now in a position to engage interested parties on the value of being involved with the Bulldogs and we go into the marketplace confident the Club is heading in the right direction.

“The Bulldogs are entering a new and exciting era and look forward to developing a sponsor family that will create a foundation that will support us for many years to come.”

The Bulldogs have already confirmed Bankstown Sports Club’s renewal of their sleeve sponsorship and further announcements are expected in coming weeks.
