They don't come any more passionate than rugby leagues rebel , Mark Geyer.

Graded with the Penrith Panthers in 1985, headlines and controversy seemed to go hand in hand with one of the true characters in rugby league. After his spectacular confrontation with the King, Wally Lewis during the second game of the 1991 Origin series, the legend of Rugby Leagues Rebel, MG began.

His career peaked during 91 with Mark winning a premiership with his beloved Penrith Panthers and playing for the Australian Kangaroos as well as wearing the coveted sky blue of NSW. Spectacularly sacked by the Panthers during the 1992 season he then tried his luck with the Balmain Tigers and the Western Reds, before finishing his career with the Panthers.

During his career he was often in trouble with rugby leagues officialdom due to his aggressive style of play always sailing close to the wind. He was suspended for a total of 27 weeks during his career. Despite this, his ability to influence an outcome of a game with his powerful running style and offloading skills was always recognized and respected by experts in the game.

MG is now a widely respected figure in the rugby league world.

He is a man known to be a straight shooter who is not afraid to speak his mind. He is a panelist on channel Nines Sunday Roast, writes a column for Rugby League Week, is also a co-host on Talkin Sport and has been used as a coaching consultant by the North Queensland Cowboys coach Graham Murray in their successful finals series campaigns.

A dedicated family man to his beloved wife and soon to be 5 children. MG is also active in doing charity work for disabled athletes and youth suicide prevention. MG is sure to add to your next function or event and make it one to remember.
