Talkin Sport The most nervous punters in the wake of Kevin Sheedy's dumping after 27 years in charge of Essendon, were those who had backed Essendon to make the top 8 with Centrebet!

"We're holding about $15,000.00 in bets on the Bombers to make the play-offs, but we had actually lost faith long before the Sheedy announcement," Centrebet's Neil Evans said!

More evidence, netball is finally making a public footprint! Evans reports nearly $40,000.00 was bet on  the second and third Tests against the Kiwis! "Our punters got into the swing of the Trans-Tasman hoops rivallry - They put in around $20,000.00 on each Test, with around 85 per cent of it on the Aussies in the decider at $1.40!
