Venus Williams remains on track for a fourth Wimbledon title after beating Ana Ivanovic 6-2 6-4 in the semis.

Marion Bartoli caused one of the biggest shocks in Wimbledon history as she defeated world number one Justine Henin 1-6 7-5 6-1 in the semis.

Richard Gasquet fought back from two sets down to beat Andy Roddick 4-6 4-6 7-6 (7-2) 7-6 (7-3) 8-6 and reach the Wimbledon semi-finals.

Gasquet will now face reigning champion Roger Federer, who beat Spain’s Juan Carlos Ferrero 7-6 (7-2) 3-6 6-1 6-3.

Novak Djokovic beat Marcos Baghdatis 7-6 7-6 6-7 4-6 7-5 to earn a semi-final with Rafael Nadal.

Nadal beat Tomas Berdych 7-6 (7-1) 6-4 6-2
