Peyton Manning Lights Up Baltimore Ravens Defense

NFL Peyton Manning threw for 271 yards and three touchdowns, Reggie Wayne had 118 yards receiving and a TD while Marvin Harrison collected 83 yards receiving and two TDs on three catches as the Indianapolis Colts (3-2) sent the Baltimore Ravens (2-3) to their third straight loss 31-3 on Sunday.

Manning picked apart the Ravens defense beginning in the first quarter as he hit Harrison on a 67-yard touchdown to give the Colts a 7-0 lead and then found Wayne on a 22-yard toss for a 14-0 advantage. Before the first quarter came to an end Adam Vinatieri booted a 37-yatrd field goal and Indy was up 17-0.

Harrison would enter the endzone for the second time late in the first half when Manning found him on a 5-yard toss and Indianapolis went into the break with a stunning 24-0 lead.

Dominic Rhodes boosted the lead to 31-0 in the third quarter when he scored on a one-yard run and it was clear Baltimore had no answer.

It was a rough day for Ravens rookie QB Joe Flacco who threw three interceptions as Baltimore turned the ball over five times and converted just 3-11 third down opportunities.
