World Cup 2010 European Qualifier Group Two Results

Football Three games were on schedule for Group Two in the World Cup 2010 European Qualifier action on Saturday and Greece continued to impress with a win over Moldova while Israel kept pace with a win over Luxembourg and Switzerland tried to climb back into contention with a victory over Latvia.

Greece blanked Moldova 3-0 with two goals coming from Angelos Charisteas and a goal from Kostas Katsouranis to boost their point total to 9 in group play.

Israel remains two points behind Greece in group play after scoring a pair of goals in the second half to drop Luxembourg 3-1 on Saturday.

Switzerland secured a 2-1 victory over Latvia after Blaise Nkufo scored the decider in the 72nd minute, one minute after Latvia tie the score.
