Kurt Warner Tosses 2 Touch Downs

NFL Kurt Warner was 33/42 passing for 250 yards and two touchdowns, Larry Fitzgerald had 52 yards receiving and a pair of TDs and the Arizona Cardinals (3-2) forced four turnovers to beat the Buffalo Bills (4-1) 41-17 on Sunday.

The Cardinals jumped to a 14-0 lead after Warner hit Fitzgerald on a 2-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and then Tim Hightower scored on a 17-yard run in the second quarter but J.P. Losman, filling in for Trent Edwards who had been knocked out of the game, hit Lee Evans on an 87-yard touchdown pass to cut the Bills deficit in half.

Arizona kept moving the ball though and Edgerrin James gave them a 21-7 advantage after scoring from a yard out but Losman kept the Bills close as he scored on a 2-yard keeper. Neil Rackers then gave the Cardinals a 10-point cushion as the first half ended with a 47-yard field goal.

Buffalo didn’t just go away though as Rian Lindell kept the Bills within seven after booting a 48-yard field goal in the third but those would be the final points they would put on the board and Arizona kept scoring. Fitzgerald had his second TD of the game on a 2-yard catch late in the third quarter to give Arizona a 31-17 lead and Rackers added his second field goal of the game in the fourth and Hightower scored from two yards out for his second TD and the 41-17 final.
