DeAngelo Williams Scores 3 Touch Downs

DeAngelo Williams rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns and had a 25-yard TD reception, Jake Delhomme threw for 236 yards and two TDs and the Carolina Panthers (4-1) defense held the Kansas City Chiefs (1-4) to just 127 yards of total offense in a 34-0 blasting on Sunday.

Williams found the endzone three times in the first half as he scored on a 10-yard run, had the touchdown reception early in the second quarter and then scored on a 32-yard run with less than a minute left before the half to give Carolina a 21-0 lead at the break.

In the second half the Panthers put a pair of field goals on the board and Delhomme tossed his second touchdown of the game, a 47-yarder to Muhsin Muhammad to account for all the scoring.

Kansas City could do nothing offensively as the Panthers defense allowed just 8 first downs in the game and 35 yards rushing while forcing three turnovers. Carolina’s offense had more than a 17-minute advantage over the Chiefs.
