Dallas Cowboys Hold Off Cincinnati Beganls

NFL Tony Romo threw for 176 yards and three touchdowns, Felix Jones rushed for 96 yards and a TD, and Terrell Owens had 67 yards receiving and a touchdown on two catches as the Dallas Cowboys (4-1) built a 17-0 lead and held off the Cincinnati Bengals (0-5) 31-22 on Sunday.

The Cowboys led 17-0 early in the second quarter after a field goal from Nick Folk, a 33-yard touchdown run from Felix Jones and a 4-yard touchdown pass from Romo to Jason Witten but the Bengals clawed their way back after three field goals from Shayne Graham and an 18-yard touchdown pass from Carson Palmer to T.J. Houshmandzadeh made the score 17-16 early in the fourth quarter.

Dallas pushed their advantage to 24-16 after Romo hit Terrell Owens on a 57-yard bomb but Palmer hooked up with Houshmandzadeh again, this time a 10-yard toss but their two-point attempt failed and the Cowboys clung to a 24-22 lead.

Romo then put the game away with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Patrick Craytom with just under two minutes left in the game.
