Eli Manning and Brandon Jacobs Lead NY Giants

NFL Eli Manning threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns, Brandon Jacobs rushed for 136 and a pair of TDs and Domenik Hixon had 102 yards receiving and a touchdown as the New York Giants (4-0) crushed the Seattle Seahawks (1-3) 44-6 on Sunday.

The Giants jumped to a 14-3 lead by the end of the first quarter after Manning hit Hixon on a 32-yard TD pass and after a Seahawks field goal Brandon Jacobs scored on a 3-yard run.

The second quarter brought more of the same as John Carney kicked a pair of field goals and Jacobs added his second touchdown of the game on a one-yard run as the Giants built a 27-6 lead heading into the half.

Manning then opened the third quarter with a 23-yard touchdown pass to Sinorice Moss and Carney kicked his third field goal of the game in the third to put the game away at 37-6 heading into the fourth.

New York’s defense played outstanding, allowing just 187 yards of offense to the Seahawks and a paltry 13 first downs. Offensively the Giants held the ball for nearly 13 more minutes than Seattle.
