World Cup 2010 European Qualifier: Group Five

Football The World Cup 2010 European Qualifying stages continue on October 11 with Group Five heading into their third match with Spain holding a two-point lead in the group with Turkey and Belgium battling for second.

Spain knocked off Bosnia-Herzegovina 1-0 in their opener and then dismantled Armenia 4-0 in the second match. They are expected to pick up another three points when they face Estonia who has been embarrassed in both their matches, losing to Belgium 3-2 and then being pounded 7-0 by Bosnia-Herzegovina.



Turkey followed their 2-0 victory over Armenia with a 1-1 draw with Belgium and will now face Bosnia-Herzegovina who dropped their opener to Spain before dropping Estonia.

Belgium beat Estonia before earning a draw with Turkey and will square off with Armenia who has yet to score a goal in their two losses to Turkey and Spain.
