World Cup 2010 European Qualifier: Group Three

The World Cup 2010 European Qualifying stages continue on October 11 with Group Three heading into their third match Poland holds a narrow lead over Slovenia based on goal differential.

Poland, who drew with Slovenia in their first match before knocking off San Marino, will have their work cut out for them on Oct. 11 as they host the Czech Republic who are looking to establish themselves in the group after drawing with Northern Ireland in their first match.

Slovenia followed their opening match draw with Poland with a 2-1 victory over Slovakia and they host a Northern Ireland squad that bounced back from an opening match loss to Slovakia to tie the Czech Republic.

Slovakia, currently sitting in third after beating Northern Ireland and falling to Slovenia, should pick up three points as they face San Marino who were blanked 2-0 by Poland in their only match.
