Roddick & Jankovic win in Beijing

Tennis Top seed Andy Roddick saw off a determined challenge from unsung Dudi Sela to win the China Open in Beijing.

The American, 28, came through 6-4 6-7 (6-8) 6-3 in the men's final for the 26th ATP Tour title of his career.

Serbia's Jelena Jankovic beat Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-3 6-2 in the women's final.

Jankovic now moves to within 21 points of world number one Serena Williams, with both women due to play at next week's Stuttgart Grand Prix.
