I am no Maradona or Rock Star..Dan Carter..

Rugby Union Dan Carter has arrived in Perpignan feeling very humble and overwhelmed by the attention of the Perpignan fans..

The 26 year old is about to start his 6 month contract, with his club who has not had success since 1955....

It was a Rock star like welcoming, but Dan Carter has made it very clear he is just another player in his team..

All be it their best...

He made a choice to play with Perpignan in front of Toulon who have plenty of Kiwis in their club, to play in the European Cup..

It is an interesting move by the NZRFU to allow Carter to play as he is contracted to them..

It makes Dan Carter a very wanted man..
