Tour winner Sastre quits CSC team

Talkin Sport Tour de France winner Carlos Sastre has left the CSC team to join the Cervelo TestTeam project.

The Spaniard, 33, said: "Everything in life has a beginning and an end, and for my future I want to find a new motivation to enjoy cycling."

Cervelo is the largest time-trial bike manufacturer in the world.

The team, still seeking a main sponsor, was founded last month as a new outfit that will also concentrate on testing new equipment.
