2008 Beijing Olympics Results: Men’s Football

Football The 2008 Beijing Olympics have their men’s soccer finals set after Nigeria and Argentina advanced out of the semifinals to set the stage for an epic battle for gold.

Nigeria handled Belgium 4-1 on Tuesday, netting three goals in the second half to move one step closer to duplicating their gold medal performance in Atlanta during the 1996 Olympics.

Argentina moved into the finals after embarrassing Brazil 3-0 with all three goals coming in the second half. Argentina is looking to become the first country to repeat in men’s soccer in 40 years.
