One Sportingbet Australia punter has staked a massive $50,000 each way at $5.00 on Weekend Hussler in this year’s Cox Plate.

Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said he was happy to take on the punter four months out from the race.

“There’s no doubt that Weekend Hussler has the makings of one of the greats of the turf,” said Sullivan.

“But this race is not marked definite on his agenda and plenty can happen in four months.

“We love to take on the champions and were more than happy to accommodate our punter.”
