Royal Ascot Tubby Trifectas

Racing Tabcorp’s next racing promotion focuses on the Royal Ascot carnival, with the return of Tubby Trifectas.


Tubby Trifectas halve the commission on Trifectas to 10%, resulting in bigger Trifecta dividends.

The Royal Ascot Tubby Trifectas promotion will be held on all races at the Royal Ascot carnival that have totalizator betting and will apply to both the NSW and Victorian TABs.


The Royal Ascot carnival will be held from 17 to 21 June and will again have significant Australian interest with sprinters Takeover Target and Magnus featuring in the showcase sprint races.

The promotion means bigger Trifecta dividends for punters. The dividends displayed on the final results screens will incorporate the commission reduction.

Large Trifectas won on the 2007 Royal Ascot carnival included:

Wed 20 June 6 – Sandringham 3YO Fillies Listed Handicap $ 17,208.50 NSW TAB

Wed 20 June 5 – Queen Mary 2YO Fillies Stakes $ 12,731.20 Super TAB

Wed 20 June 5 – Queen Mary 2YO Fillies Stakes $ 6,585.40 NSW TAB

Tue 19 June 6 – Windsor Castle 2YO Listed Stakes $ 6,303.50 SuperTAB

Thu 21 June 6 – King George V Heritage Handicap $ 5,473.60 Super TAB

Tue 19 June 6 – Windsor Castle 2YO Listed Stakes $ 4,827.00 NSW TAB

Takeover Target and Magnus are expected to run on the opening day in the G1 King’ Stand Stakes over 1000m, the race Takeover Target won two years ago, and then the Group 1 Golden Jubilee (1200m) on 21 June.

Australian galloper Haradasun will also feature and is being targeted to run in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes over 1600m on the opening day.
