Firepower Sydney Kings has re-signed six of its eight local players from last season and are scouting the free agents list for two players that will complement the existing team.
BJ Carter, Ian Crosswhite, Russell Hinder, Glenn Saville, Cameron Tovey and Luke Kendall have re-signed and are enthusiastic about playing another great season under new head coach, Firepower Sydney Kings veteran Billy Tomlinson.
Billy Tomlinson, Head Coach of the Firepower Sydney Kings, said:
“We’d like to welcome the players to another year of great basketball. They are the core of what is a fantastic team and each one of them is an asset. In the last year, they’ve demonstrated true professionalism and loyalty and we’re committed to ensuring that their talent is acknowledged, nurtured and strengthened.
Negotiations will continue to take place for the remaining members over the next seven days. Once the local players have been assembled, the club will finalise deals with international talent.
