St. Augustine, Fla. Jack Nicklaus and Nancy Lopez will be among other Hall of Fame members, golf dignitaries, family and friends to welcome six new members of the World Golf Hall of Fame at its annual Induction Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. The 2007 Inductees—Joe Carr, Hubert Green, Charles Blair Macdonald, Kel Nagle, Se Ri Pak and Curtis Strange—will bring the total number of Hall of Fame members to 120.

Speaking on behalf of the late Carr will be Nicklaus, who was paired with Carr in the 1967 Masters Tournament and has enjoyed a friendship with the Carr family for many years. Carr was selected in the Lifetime Achievement Category and will become the first Irishman in the Hall of Fame.

Green, selected in the Veteran’s Category, will be introduced by his good friend and fellow Champions Tour player Fuzzy Zoeller.

United States Golf Association Executive Director and member of the World Golf Foundation Board of Directors David Fay will speak on behalf of the late Macdonald, who was selected in the Lifetime Achievement Category and is known for, among many things, his involvement in the founding of the U.S.G.A.
Kel Nagle


Nagle will join the ceremony on screen with a personal, recorded acceptance speech from Australia. At the Australian Golf Writers Association Dinner in December 2007, Nagle will receive his personal Hall of Fame Inductee Crystal from Jack Peter, Chief Operating Officer of the Hall of Fame, in the presence of Greg Norman and other Australian dignitaries.

Entering through the LPGA Points System, Pak selected Lopez to introduce her, emphasizing her admiration for the LPGA icon and appreciation of the camaraderie they have shared over the last 10 years. Pak will become the first member of the Hall of Fame from South Korea.

Strange selected his twin brother, Allan, with whom he played on the PGA TOUR for several years, to introduce him at the ceremony. Strange was elected on the Hall’s PGA TOUR Ballot.
