Darren Lockyer was last night crowned as the best player in the world of Rugby League. This is the second time that Lockyer has won the award. Earlier in the year the talk was he should be playing Fullback not number 6. Well who knows best? Wayne Bennett. Look at the Broncos back 3. Hunt, Boyd, Tate,Topou. Lockyer is now the best number 6 in the world, and who can argue with that. He dominated the State of Origin, and when he has the right half back he shines. Jonthan Thursten should take some of this credit because the pressure Thurstan takes off Locker makes Darren a better player and makes Wayne Bennett a great judge.
