Talkin Sport - Bulldogs Sign Michael Hodgson

The Bulldogs have today signed front-rower Michael Hodgson to a two year deal (2009-10).

A veteran of almost 150 first grade games Hodgson’s experience will complement the youth of Jarrad Hickey, Ben Hannant and John Kite who are all seen as long-term prospects for the Club.

With a reputation for consistency and a strong training ethic, incoming coach Kevin Moore says he expects Hodgson will be a valuable addition to the side.

“We’ll be looking to Michael for his leadership on and off the field, helping our younger boys to lay a good platform up front,” Moore said.

“He’s a no frills style of player – he goes forward, misses few tackles and is good at the ruck and we’re looking forward to welcoming him to the Bulldogs next year.”
