Ronaldinho Nears Deal with AC Milan

Ronaldinho is believed to be suiting up in an AC Milan jersey shortly after reports have surfaced noting the soccer-god will overlook the Manchester City bid and head to the Italian club.
Leandro Cantamessa, lawyer for AC Milan, informed the club’s Web site, “There is a good chance that Ronaldinho's passage to Milan will become a reality. Only a few economic issues are left but our legal department has already prepared all the necessary docu ments.”
Ronaldinho was said to be offered more than £22 million by Manchester City but would turn that down for a £14.6 million contract from AC Milan that would also offer plenty of incentives. |  |
Ronaldinho was FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005.
