David Beckham Leads 2008 MLS All-Star Game Roster

Los Angeles Galaxy star David Beckham leads the roster for the 2008 MLS All-Star Game, which will be held in Toronto on July 24.
Beckham and the Major League Soccer All-Stars will face British club West Ham United in the 2008 MLS All-Star Game, which will be the first MLS all-star game held in Canada. West Ham Utd. was 10th in the standings for the Premier League in 2007-08.
Beckham will be joined by LA Galaxy teammate, forward Landon Donovan, the leading scorer in the league. Both Donovan and teammate Edson Buddle lead the league with 11 goals each, while Donovan and Beckham are tied for second in the league with seven assists each.
New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis was named the starting goalie. Reis' New England teammate Michael Parkhurst, Kansas City Wizards' Jimmy Conrad, Frankie Hejduk of the Columbus Crew will be the starting defenders.
Beckham is joined by Chicago Fire's Cuauhtemoc Blanco, New England's Shalrie Joseph, CD Chivas USA's Sacha Kljestan and Robbie Rogers of the Columbus Crew will be the starting midfielders. Donovan and FC Dallas' Kenny Cooper will be the starting forwards.
