NSW TAB customers get their first chance to win plenty through TAB's Jackpot Saturday promotion this week.

More than $370,000 has accu mulated from Quaddie and last race First 4 jackpots in June and will be returned to customers this Saturday, as part of Tabcorp's new jackpots policy.

The thoroughbred jackpots heighten betting interest at Rosehill Gardens; Sydney Markets Winter Cup race meeting, with a $75,000-plus Quaddie jackpot. Another feature of Jackpot Saturday is the First 4 thoroughbred jackpot amount of $159,850, which will be split across the last three races at Rosehill, giving customers more chances to win a jackpot.

Harness punters have enticing jackpot pools at the Newcastle meeting this Saturday night. The action commences early with a jackpot of $51,935 on the First 4 Jackpot Pace (Race 1). The event features four last start winners: Softleigh, Iona Hare, Wilcos Magic and Thrift. A Quaddie jackpot pool of $37,205 is a feature later in the card.

Wentworth Park is also part of the jackpot action with a Quaddie jackpot pool of almost $35,000. The First 4 jackpot of $12,094 will be held on the Overflo; Stud Bob Payne Final (Race 8).

The introduction of Jackpot Saturdays follows a recent change to the allocation of jackpot pools for Quaddies and last race First 4s, which has led to bigger, one-off jackpot pools being held on the first Saturday of each month. All Quaddie and last race First 4 jackpot pools are now being transferred to the first Saturday of the next month to a feature meeting nominated by Tabcorp. Each of the codes maintains its own jackpot pool.

NSW TAB's FootyTAB; NRL Pick the Margins; was not won last week and jackpots to this round. The jackpot amount is $105,818.25, which should result in this weekend's Margins pool exceeding $250,000. Betting closes at 7pm on Friday 4 July.
