World 100m record holder Usain Bolt beat rival Asafa Powell to qualify for the Olympics but refused to confirm he will run the event in Beijing.
Bolt ran 9.85 seconds to Powell's 9.97 secs, with Michael Frater claiming the third spot for the Games in 10.04.
Women's 100m world champion Veronica Campbell failed to join the trio in China after finishing fourth.
Meanwhile, American world champion Tyson Gay ran the fourth fastest time ever (9.77) at the American trials.
