Bulldogs Sign Hannant

Queensland State of Origin prop Ben Hannant has today signed a three year deal (2009-2011) with the Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs.
Targeted to fill the void left by the departure of several quality front rowers in recent years, 23 year-old Hannant is seen as a long term prospect for the Club.
“This is a really significant signing for us, Ben is a high class prop and an important part of our plans for the future,” said CEO Mr Todd Greenberg. |  |
"We’ve been really specific in our desire to recruit players who are an asset to the Club by the way they carry themselves on and off the field and Ben certainly fits that requirement.
“Signing players of his calibre is a great vote of confidence in the direction the Bulldogs are heading.”
The Bulldogs aggressive push into the player market will also see Brett Kimmorley and Josh Morris join the Club next year.
