Jason Gram has re-signed with the Saints for a further three years, cementing his commitment to Club and all things red, white and black.

The creative defender followed up his breakthrough 2006 season with another solid year, averaging 18.5 disposals and finishing sixth in the best and fairest. Skilful and a huge kick, he likes to run with the ball and was second at the Saints for rebound 50s. His 2007 season started well, winning the Michael Tuck Medal in the 2008 NAB Cup Grand Final.

Draft history: 2001 National AFL Draft 1st round selection (Brisbane) No. 19 overall; 2003 NAB AFL Draft traded by Brisbane for No. 23 (Matthew Murphy).

Jason said, “I’m rapt to renew with my contract with the Saints - there’s no Club or bunch of blokes I’d rather be playing with.”

Matthew Drain, General Manager Football Operations commented, “We’re glad to re-sign Jason, his commitment and presence around the Club are an absolute asset. Jason will continue to be an important part of our team for many years to come.”
